The EMEA Website Specialist is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the main DS Smith EMEA website, ensuring a consistent, high-performing, and user-centric digital experience. For local market websites, the role will work closely with EMEA Website Coordinators to support implementation and ensure alignment with the overall website strategy and user experience standards. Success in this position depends on the ability to collaborate effectively with central and sub-regional marketing teams, the EMEA Communications team, UX designers, developers, and external partners.
The role is accountable for designing and running UX experiments such as A/B testing and user behaviour analysis, turning insights into actionable improvements across the EMEA website and local sites. It also involves maintaining the structural integrity of the website as new content is deployed, ensuring consistency in design, navigation, and performance across all language versions. In addition, the role will oversee the management and optimisation of website enquiry forms, ensuring they are user-friendly, compliant, and effectively support lead generation and customer engagement.
Responsibilities- Create, update, and optimise website pages across EMEA, ensuring all content adheres to brand and accessibility standards.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve organic visibility for EMEA website.
- Implement general enquiry CRM form and related workflows for EMEA website.
- Maintain the structural integrity and consistency of the website as new content is added.
- Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure seamless integration of new assets.
- Design and run A/B and multivariate tests to evaluate user experience improvements.
- Analyse test results and user behaviour data to generate actionable insights.
- Recommend and implement UX enhancements across all market websites.
- Support website lead and broader digital team in developing business cases for experimentation.
- Leverage analytics tools to track website performance, user behaviour, and engagement metrics, and implement continuous optimisation strategies that improve conversion and growth.
- Drive SEO improvements focused on priority topics to enhance visibility, search rankings, and overall discoverability across all language versions.
- Use analytics tools to track website performance, user journeys, and conversion metrics.
- Identify and address technical or content-related issues impacting performance.
- A Degree or professional qualification in Business administration, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant field of study.
- Background in website coordination, digital marketing, or content operations within a multi-market or matrixed organisation.
- Experience in interpreting website performance data and providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Experience in creating, configuring, and maintaining web forms, with a solid understanding of form tracking, conversion optimisation, and integration with CRM or marketing automation platforms.
- Skilled in using tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Hotjar, or similar platforms to monitor user behaviour and site performance.
- Advanced understanding of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting and making minor content adjustments.
- Advanced understanding of Dynamics 365 Marketing Forms - able to create, edit and manage form workflow based on requirements.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
