About the role
At our Ely site, we are looking to recruit an experienced Team Leader with strong leadership skills to support our Co-Pack Department. Working closely with the Co-Pack Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the department, leading and developing your team to deliver exceptional results. You will have an eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring 100% quality and safety, making sure all processes are followed correctly. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the shift, so excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills are essential. You will also deputise for the Manager in their absence and collaborate with colleagues across manufacturing, production, and assembly.
Main Responsibilities
- Planning production control – ensuring output targets are met

About You
- Proven experience managing a team at Team Leader level
- Background in a manufacturing or similar environment
- Strong working knowledge of health and safety best practices
- Track record of achieving KPIs and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Outstanding communication skills, including reading job specs and reports
- Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
- Effective leadership and people management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate teams

Working hours
Monday to Friday – 06:00am – 14:00pm. Note: The organisation intends to transition to an early and late shift pattern in the near future. Consequently, the successful candidate will be required to work on a rotational basis, covering the early shift (06:00–14:00) and the late shift (14:00–22:00) as part of their contracted hours.
