We have a fabulous opportunity for a proactive and inquisitive individual to join our Group Finance Team as a System Administrator. In this key role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our internal financial system (HFM), ensuring the integrity of our global user base and supporting the seamless flow of financial data across the organization. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with numbers but is curious about the 'engine room' of finance—the systems themselves.

Key responsibilities

  • System Administration: Act as the primary lead for HFM user security requests, managing access rights for new starters and leavers to ensure data remains secure and accurate.
  • User Support: Serve as a vital resource for our global user base, troubleshooting data submission queries and providing guidance on system functionality.
  • Reporting Support: Collaborate with the Finance Team to prepare the system for month-end reporting, ensuring all internal controls and requirements are met.
  • Testing & Documentation: Create detailed documentation for all procedures to ensure SOX audit compliance.
  • Process Optimisation: Maintain and cleanse system access rights regularly, identify opportunities to improve user workflows and data integrity, and improve or create new reports to meet business requirements.

About you

  • Undergraduate university qualification or equivalent – ideally accounting or IT related.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Proactive and able to work independently while building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Prepared to work flexibly; occasional tasks outside normal business hours.

Location

This is a full-time role, split between home working (2 days) and our Head Office in Paddington, London (3 days).
