Winder Operator

• To be responsible for the work carried out in the core cutter and core cutting areas including core loading and high standard of housekeeping
• To assist with the operation of all 3 winders
• To operate the auto packing area (Trancel), the conveyor system and the auto flight system
• To follow the appropriate procedures identified during training and specified by management
• To communicate clearly and in a timely manner with colleagues and managers, being an active and constructive member of the team
• To complete the specified check lists and reports as required
• Assist with training and developing others as required
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping
• Participation in training plans to acquire the ability to step up and act as Winder Op if required
• Prepare dry-end of paper machine during paper break
• Assist on paper machine as required. Test paper if required when paper machine is shut.
