The DS Smith Production team are a dynamic and skilled mix of professionals who focus on delivering machine products, operational targets and performance whilst working to delight our customers by showcasing our sustainable and innovative packaging solutions. The Production team are fundamental to our business success, our biggest department filled with highly skilled, highly experienced individuals!

As a valued team member, you will play a vital role in supporting the Operator in the setting and running of the machines. You will assist in achieving quality standards on all work produced and delighting our customers by producing high quality product, in a timely manner. We work together to ensure that our work is technically correct and the right process has been followed to achieve customer requirements.

Health & Safety is our number one priority and an important part of the role will be to work in line with all current policies and procedures to keep yourself and your colleagues safe. You will report directly to the Shift Managers and work closely with the Teams on various machines to receive the training you need to become a successful Operator and grow into internal promotions.

Location: Fordham, Newmarket on a 12 hour shift pattern, days & nights rotation starting either 06:00 or 18:00.
