An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Manager at our Featherstone site. We are looking for a driven and motivated individual with a passion for leadership, people development, and operational excellence to join our team. This is a challenging yet highly rewarding shift-based role, offering the opportunity to lead teams, drive performance, and contribute to the ongoing success of our manufacturing operation.

About the Role

As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing process from goods-in to goods-out, ensuring customer expectations are consistently met in terms of quality, service, and delivery. You will lead a team through two direct reports, driving safety, performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement while maintaining cost control. The role works on a 4 on 4 off pattern, of 2 x 12 hour days and 2 x 12 hour nights. This rotates 7 times, then there are 18 days off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver KPI targets across Health & Safety, Quality, Waste, Productivity, Housekeeping, and Team Development.
  • Coach, support, and develop team members to maximise capability and performance.
  • Lead training and development activities across the department.
  • Conduct incidents and accident investigations.
