Monday to Friday - from 8am till 5pm / location - 1h30 max away from South Wimbledon office.
At least 3 years' working with either CCTV or Access Control systems is required. Proficient computer network user. A valid clean driving licence is essential. Valid ECS/FESS Card for site-based work.
The person will mainly be required to work in and around the M25 with some further locations when needed. The ideal candidate will be competent and have a strong background in installation of Access Control and CCTV systems.
Responsibilities:- Service and repair.
- Routine inspections.
- Troubleshooting faults.
- Excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs 1 week in 7.
- Proven experience and work history as Security Engineer.
- Strong understanding of electronic security systems, maintenance, and repair.
- Set up IP-based security systems, configure network settings, and ensure proper communication between devices and servers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Set up remote monitoring solutions and provide remote technical support to clients.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good communications and excellent customer interactions.
- Valid driving license for UK.
Must have experience working with:
- CCTV: Hikvision, Hanwha, Avigilon, EagleEye and Vista - a MUST.
- Access Control: Paxton, ACT, Salto, Brivo and Gallagher - a MUST.
- Door Entry: Fermax, BPT, Videx and 2N - these might be negotiable.
Our overtime and Saturday are paid at 1.5 rate, we also pay travel time, Sundays and Public holidays are paid at 2x.
