I have been asked to find a Project Manager for a Civils package on a scheme in Cardiff. The contract will run for around 6 months with the possibility of further packages going forward- this isn’t guaranteed though. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in the delivery of earthworks, enabling works, drainage, roads and sewers, communications and diversions of same. My client is a specialist Civil Engineering contractor and they operate on a national basis. I am keen to find candidates from a Civils contracting background who have extensive experience of the aforementioned elements. This scheme is a high-profile one and it is important that my client delivers their works on time and on budget. ASTA programming experience will be beneficial although not essential- programming proficiency is a must along with the ability to lead a team in a professional and motivational manner. Again, A civil Engineering degree will be useful but more importantly relevant experience must be demonstrated. The daily rate will be between £400-450 and there is room for negotiation for candidates that fit the brief perfectly.
