Overview
I am looking for a Technical Bid Writer to join my client on a contract basis for an initial 3-6 months. This could potentially be longer if successful in the role.
About the role
My client is tendering/bidding for work on large Civil Engineering/Infrastructure packages. They need the above to join their pre-construction team and assist in this process.
Responsibilities
- Support pre-construction bid activities, with a focus on technical bid writing to win bids for civil engineering/infrastructure projects.
- Understand the PQQ/ITT process and provide detailed answers to technical queries relating to relevant bids.
- Assist with temporary works knowledge within such schemes.
- Collaborate with project teams; proficiency with CAD is very useful.
Qualifications and skills
- Civil Engineering degree background (crucial for specialist technical knowledge).
- Technical bid writing experience focused on winning bids for civil engineering/infrastructure contracting.
- Knowledge and experience of temporary works within infrastructure schemes.
