Overview
I am looking for a Technical Bid Writer to join my client on a contract basis for an initial 3-6 months- this could potentially be longer though if successful in the role. My client is currently tendering/bidding for work on large Civil Engineering/Infrastructure packages. They need the above to join their pre-construction team and assist in this process.
Responsibilities
- Join the pre-construction team and assist in the bid/tender process for large Civil Engineering/Infrastructure packages.
- Provide technical bid writing experience aimed at winning bids.
- Understand the PQQ/ITT process and provide detailed answers to technical queries related to relevant bids.
- Apply knowledge and experience of temporary works within civil engineering schemes.
- Utilise CAD proficiency where required to support bid documentation.
- Work on some of the UK\\\’s largest infrastructure schemes with leading specialists in their field.
- Note: The role could turn into a long-term arrangement depending on success.
Qualifications
- Technical bid writing experience focused on winning bids.
- Civil engineering/infrastructure contracting experience.
- Knowledge/experience of temporary works within civil engineering schemes.
- Civil Engineering degree background is highly desirable as it provides the specialist technical knowledge required.
