I have been asked to find a Site Engineer to add to my client's team on projects in the Southampton area and into the wider Hampshire area. This contractor has picked up a number of contracts in the region and they are seeing a promising upturn in contracts awarded. Specialising as a groundworks subcontractor, they are looking for an experienced Site Engineer. The successful applicant could have a Civil Engineering degree background or have learned their profession on site.
Elements of work include:
- Piling
- Reinforced concrete basements/structures
- Traditional housing and commercial build foundations & raft slabs
- External softscape/hard landscape works
- Multiple elements of Highways works such as S278; new site entrances, roundabouts, bus-stops, S50 Foul and Storm water connections for new developments - both commercial and residential.
Ideally, I am looking to find candidates who can demonstrate a solid and stable career path. This opportunity will last for at least a year, so I am not looking for someone who will move on after a couple of months.
The daily rate is approximately £300, but there may be room for negotiation for particularly relevant candidates. My client is particularly keen to talk to Engineers from a groundworks subcontracting background.
Please apply without delay for what can be pretty much an immediate start and to hear about other opportunities that may suit your skills, experience and aspirations.
