I have been asked to find a Site Engineer for my client in Dudley - West Midlands. This is for an initial 6 months with a possible contract to follow in Worcester. I’m looking for the above to start on the 20th of April on a new build apartment scheme.
My client is a groundworks/RC specialist and they need an Engineer who is interested in getting involved on the management side as well. You’ll be working alongside a Site Supervisor and there will be 3/4 gangs on the project.
My client’s package comprises the following:
- Strip footings
- RC foundations
- Drainage – including connection in the highway to existing system
- Ducting
- Kerbing
- Roads and car parking stone prep
- Ground floor slab prep
The rate is likely to be between £300-£350 per shift with some room for negotiation. It is essential that your experience is with a groundworks/RC subcontractor.
