I am looking to speak to experienced Project Directors or Senior Project Managers looking to step up to run a large infrastructure package for an exciting development in Manchester. This contract has been awarded very recently and my client will be responsible for drainage, ducting, services and reinforced concrete packages; these will not be hi-rise due to the unique nature of the project.
The project is due to run for at least 12 months but could lead to further work if successful. My client is happy to employ on both a PAYE or Ltd/Cis basis. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in the delivery of large groundworks/Civil Engineering infrastructure packages with either tier one or tier two contractors. It is likely that you will have a degree background and will be well-presented, articulate and have the ability to operate in a professional manner whilst ensuring a smooth and seamless delivery.
There will be a significant level of client liaison and you will be hosting regular meetings with both the main contractor and end user. This scheme will be under the NEC form of contract, so a strong working knowledge of this is essential. The project itself is something that has never been attempted before in the UK on this scale; it’s a fascinating project that will make a huge positive impact on the city and region as a whole.
The salary and package are very negotiable and at a level that should attract the best possible applicants for the role. Please apply without delay for further information on this and other opportunities that may suit your skills, experience and career aspirations.
