Local Motion reservationists primarily take requests for transportation over the phone, but also answer email requests, provide rate quotes, and enter reservations into our system. The reservationist makes reservations available to shift drivers and communicates with both passengers and drivers. Basic computer skills and knowledge of the area are essential. This is a customer service position for someone detail-oriented looking for a long-term job with an established transportation company.
Pay is commensurate with experience. Local knowledge of roads, weather conditions, and excellent customer service skills are required. Previous experience in the transportation field with dispatching software is preferred. This is a full-time, in-person position. Pay range $23-$25/hour.
Responsibility Profile:- Answer phones and direct calls, messages and emails accordingly.
- Compile data, reports, and figures for review.
- Ensure communication is routed to the appropriate parties.
- Greet all visitors, employees, and other people with a polite and professional manner.
- Conduct research as necessary on various company topics.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and teams/zoom calls.
- Set up conference rooms for meetings and conferences.
- Help direct employees with concerns to the appropriate parties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
