Summary

Pay: £40,000 - £42,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm (no nights, weekends or shift work)

Hybrid working – minimum 2 days per week at the consultation centre.

Role is for registered Occupational Therapists (OT) with a minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience, fully registered with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or equivalent), and a valid PIN.

You will undertake a combination of file‑work, face‑to‑face and telephone/video assessments with customers in relation to PIP or ESA benefits, providing comprehensive reports to enable decision makers at the DWP to make informed decisions regarding benefit claims.

Comprehensive training, CPD (over 100 hours protected per annum) and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifications

  • One year's post‑registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist
  • Fully registered with the relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathise and dig deeper
  • Typist: minimum 30 words per minute
