Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading providers of behavioural care and specialist support services for a Principal Psychologist based within a private mental health hospital in Altrincham which has residential facilities for 56 patients as well as day care and outpatient services and is a principle provider to the NHS in the North of England, focusing on positive holistic outcome through full service provision

The Principal Psychologist will work as part of an established multi-disciplinary therapy team that provides psychological treatment and support to inpatients and outpatients. You will also be skilled and motivated in the facilitation of group therapy interventions.
You will join a thriving therapy service that is committed to evidence based practice, supervision and providing professional development opportunities. You will be an integral member of an established multi-disciplinary team to contribute to clinical meetings / care planning for patients.
You must be registered with the HCPC
The post holders responsibilities will include:
- Working within the standards set out by CQC, QNIC and other regulators
- Providing excellent standards of evidence based practice
- Regularly reviewing and monitoring outcomes of assessments and the effects of treatment in line with goal based outcomes
- Active participation in service developments including: the use of resident feedback / in-house training
- Contributing to the development of care pathways and other treatment protocols
- To provide specialist supervision, training and consultation to colleagues through formulation groups / reflective practice
This is a permanent post – 30 hours per week and offers a salary of £48,250 – £58,250 FTE per annum, plus
