You’ll play a pivotal role in executing day-to-day content creation and community engagement, ensuring our social channels are populated with engaging content that aligns perfectly with our brand.

About Dryrobe®: At Dryrobe®, we’re all about helping people get out there and make the most of their time outdoors, connecting them with nature. We are the creators of the original outdoor changing robe and our products are used for a range of activities on the shoreline and beyond; including surfing, swimming and paddle sports. We are based in beautiful North Devon and encourage our staff to take advantage of the awesome activities on our doorstep.

Job summary: You’ll combine copywriting, video editing, and direct community interaction to maintain the brand’s presence across all digital touchpoints:

  • Drafting high-quality social post copy across all platforms, ensuring alignment with brand tone of voice and campaign objectives.
  • Editing and producing engaging short‑form video content (primarily Reels and TikToks) to drive reach and engagement.
  • Acting as the voice of the brand online by responding to comments and DMs daily across all channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Threads, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Writing and uploading SEO‑optimised blog content for the Dryrobe® website, including conducting engaging interviews with brand ambassadors and partners.
  • Proactively generating creative ideas for organic social posts and broader social media campaigns.
  • Managing our Pinterest channel, including the creation of bespoke graphics and pins.
  • Attending Dryrobe® sponsored events and brand activations to produce immediate event coverage, such as Stories and on‑location interviews.
  • Interpreting basic social media metrics (engagement rate, reach, etc.) to report on performance.

About you: You possess strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt your tone for different formats, from punchy social captions to longer‑form blog articles. You have a deep practical knowledge of social platform features, best practices, trends, and algorithms, alongside proficiency with mobile‑first video editing tools (e.g., CapCut) or desktop software (e.g., Premiere Pro). Experience managing online communities is essential, and you should be comfortable engaging with user‑generated content in a professional capacity. Ideally, you have a genuine passion for outdoor sports and an awareness of sustainability issues, allowing you to authentically connect with our community.

Location: Office‑based, however, after initial training and induction into the company, we would consider hybrid working. Our office is based at Dryrobe® HQ, Braunton, North Devon.
