We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Service Coordinator to join our rapidly growing team at Dry Risers Direct, a specialist fire safety services company based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. This role involves managing administrative tasks, coordinating service schedules across the southern region, and providing exceptional support to clients and field engineers. The ideal candidate will have solid office experience, excellent communication skills, and a confident, proactive approach to their work. Responsibilities

  • Schedule and dispatch field engineers across the southern region, ensuring timely appointments and efficient resource allocation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, handling inbound calls and emails with professionalism and prompt assistance.
  • Input and maintain accurate job data, service records, and compliance certificates within CRM Systems.
  • Accurately enter financial data into Xero and raise customer invoices.
  • Log new enquiries and direct them to the appropriate team member.
  • Monitor outstanding jobs and follow up on incomplete or failed visits to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Raise and track remedial works arising from inspection visits.
  • Support the Service Manager with workload planning, capacity management, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate client records including site contacts, access notes, and contract details.
  • Maintain company and customer confidentiality at all times.
  • General filing and office duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Experience

  • Experience in an office environment, ideally within an administrative or coordination role.
  • Previous experience in a scheduling or service coordination role within fire safety, facilities management, or a similar field services environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
  • Experience with CRM Systems or similar job management software is an advantage.
  • Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable, though training can be provided.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under pressure.
  • A numerate, accurate, and detail‑oriented approach to data entry and record keeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A positive, self‑motivated individual who can demonstrate initiative and work both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Must be within easy commute of Wilmslow, Cheshire.
