Overview
In this role you will support crypto trading desks from our London-based team, ensuring smooth trade capture, reconciliation, and P&L substantiation. You will collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers to optimize workflows and tools. You will own processes and advocate enhancements to technology and processes used by the desks. You will work with risk management tools and continuously upgrade tooling to meet desk needs. This is an opportunity to shape trading operations at a globally connected, innovation-driven firm.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for crypto trading desks
- Trade capture for futures and futures options
- Trade and position reconciliation with clearing houses and brokers
- Daily P&L calculation and substantiation
- Develop working knowledge of derivatives and related systems
- Become process owner for current functionality and advise on enhancements
- Support and understand traders’ risk management tools
- Upgrade and support traders’ tools to align with firm standards
- Collaborate with technology to improve tooling and workflows
- Adopt and integrate new technology as it becomes available
Key requirements
- Strong interest or experience in crypto
- Experience with Git, Python, Cron, Linux
- Minimum 2 years in front/middle/back office or risk management roles with derivatives
- Experience with derivatives is preferred
- Significant interaction with front office and senior management in trading environments
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, math, or a quantitative field
- Ability to work independently
