We are seeking a Java Engineer to join our team in London in as a software engineer for our Global Delta One business. The position offers a unique opportunity to influence the design and architecture of a growing system and ensure efficient development and deployment of revenue generating solutions by a team of software engineers.
Candidates should have strong initiative and have proven experience independently driving projects to completion. We work from high-level requirements and programmers are expected to gain an intimate understanding of the business and work directly with Traders and Quantitative Researchers on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test proprietary trading software.
- Work on complex algorithmic trading systems
- Build out real time trade management and risk analysis
Required Skills & Experience
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics or any related Engineering, Mathematics or Science discipline
- A minimum of 2 years software development work experience
- Excellent software development skills in Java and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
