The DRVN Automotive Group is recruiting exclusively for a Junior Maintenance Engineer / Technician to join their dynamic team in Coventry to work on the most exciting programmes announced to date. As a Junior Maintenance Engineer / Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Work on automated production equipment and machinery.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained to required standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Fault finding on PLC systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley).
- Maintain sensors, drives, motors, and control systems.
- Support continuous improvement of automated processes.
- Identify recurring faults and implement solutions.
- Improve reliability, uptime, and equipment performance (OEE).
- Work in line with HSE regulations.
- Ensure equipment complies with PUWER and safety standards.
Essential Skills
- Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering qualification.
- Basic mechanical/electrical knowledge.
- Willingness to learn.
Desirable
- Apprenticeship or some industry experience.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment.
