The DRVN Automotive Group is recruiting exclusively for a Junior Maintenance Engineer / Technician to join their dynamic team in Coventry to work on exciting programmes. As a Junior Maintenance Engineer / Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Work on automated production equipment and machinery
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained to required standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Fault finding on PLC systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley)
- Maintain sensors, drives, motors, and control systems
- Support continuous improvement of automated processes
- Identify recurring faults and implement solutions
- Improve reliability, uptime, and equipment performance (OEE)
- Work in line with HSE regulations
- Ensure equipment complies with PUWER and safety standards
Qualifications
- Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering qualification
- Basic mechanical/electrical knowledge
- Willingness to learn
- Apprenticeship or some industry experience
- Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment
