Design Engineer Coventry, UK (Onsite) Salary + Benefits £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (Fixed-Term Contract) or £275 – £350 per day (Ltd Company Contractor – Outside IR35) Shift Pattern / Working Hours Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:35 Friday: 08:00 – 15:10 Must hold active UK Security Clearance An established engineering organisation operating within the defence vehicle sector is seeking immediately available Design Engineers to support global vehicle programmes. This role focuses on developing advanced vehicle protection and integration solutions that enhance safety, performance, and operational capability. You will work across the full design lifecycle, from initial concept through to production, contributing to technically challenging projects in demanding environments. This is a hands-on position within a collaborative engineering team, offering the opportunity to work with complex assemblies and specialist materials. Both fixed-term and day-rate engagement options are available for a six-month onsite contract.
