As a Stores Person, you will support the engineering and product development teams by managing, issuing, and controlling materials, components, and prototype parts throughout the research and development phase. The role focuses on ensuring design concepts, drawings, and specifications are supported with the correct materials at the right time, enabling efficient prototype build, testing, modification, and iterative development prior to production release.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and book in vehicle parts, components, and deliveries
- Store items accurately, ensuring protection of high-value automotive parts
- Pick, pack, and prepare parts for production use or dispatch
- Load and unload deliveries manually and using material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate stock records, support periodic stock takes, reporting discrepancies
- Ensure the store's area is clean, well-organised, and compliant with health & safety requirements
- Assist in identifying parts suitable for resale
- Create listings for resale including photographing, describing, and uploading items
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure efficient operations
- Support collections/deliveries with use of company vehicles
- Support marketing events when required.

Qualifications:
- Experience in a warehouse, stores, or automotive parts environment
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling high-value items
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
- Basic IT skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Suite, online listings, or databases)
- Practical, hands-on approach
- You will have vehicle dismantling and online sales experience.
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving license
Desirable Requirements:
- Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck license
- Experience in handling or storage
- Experience listing items for resale (e.g. eBay or similar)
- Knowledge of inventory systems
