The Role
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will develop and implement effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence, strengthen brand awareness, and engage our audience. This role requires a strong understanding of social media management and public relations, alongside the ability to analyse performance metrics and optimise content accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms including Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Create engaging, high-quality content that resonates with target audiences while maintaining brand voice and identity.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, engagement opportunities, and customer feedback; respond promptly to comments and messages.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure social media activity aligns with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Analyse performance metrics and produce reports to assess effectiveness and inform future strategy.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Support public relations activity by drafting press releases and liaising with media outlets where required.
- Capture photography content for social media and marketing use.
Proven experience in social media management and/or public relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to create visually engaging content using graphic design tools. Experience using social media analytics platforms to track and interpret performance data. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
