The DRVN Automotive Group are seeking a talented and driven Content Creator to join the team, with a primary focus on shooting and editing video content for both short-form social media platforms and long-form storytelling, supported by strong automotive photography skills. The ideal candidate will be video-first: confident capturing and editing content end-to-end, with a natural eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual impact. You will have a passion for automotive culture and a strong understanding of what performs across modern digital platforms, while maintaining a premium, authentic brand tone.

Role Responsibilities
- Video Content Creation – Short Form: Shoot and edit attention-grabbing short-form video content optimised for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. Capture engaging footage in workshop, studio, event, and on-location environments. Ensure all content meets platform-specific requirements, including aspect ratio, captions, pacing, and best practices.
- Video Content Creation – Long Form: Shoot and edit longer-form video content for YouTube and owned channels, with a strong focus on audience retention, story progression, and narrative clarity. Confidently select and structure B-roll, cutting decisively to maintain flow and engagement. Edit in line with musical cues and sound design to enhance storytelling, emotion, and impact.
- Photography: Capture high-quality still imagery to support social media, campaigns, press activity, and internal use. Photograph vehicles, people, details, and environments with strong attention to composition, lighting, and brand consistency. Edit and deliver photography to a professional standard aligned with DRVN’s visual identity.
- Collaboration & Ideation: Work closely with media, marketing, and brand teams to brainstorm and develop on-brand content ideas. Actively participate in team meetings, contributing creative input and visual direction. Respond constructively to feedback while confidently contributing ideas and solutions.
- Social Media Awareness & Trends: Stay up to date with trends in video production, platform formats, and audience behaviour. Apply trend awareness intelligently while maintaining brand integrity and quality. Collaborate with production and marketing teams to achieve content goals across all channels.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years’ professional experience in video content creation, ideally within automotive, lifestyle, or premium brands.
- Proven experience shooting and editing video end-to-end.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Confident operating cameras and basic audio equipment.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms and content performance.
- Strong time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing short-form video, long-form video, and photography.
- Must have IDLR / Full Rights to Work in the UK – sponsorship or work permits will not be accepted.
Desirable Skills
- Motion graphics experience, including text overlays, simple animations, and graphic elements.
- Basic understanding of video analytics and performance metrics.
- Experience working within workshop, engineering, or performance automotive environments.
