As a Build Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the assembly, servicing, maintenance, repair, testing and preparation of luxury, performance and motorsport vehicles. Working as part of a skilled technical team, you will contribute to the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of vehicle build and workshop activities, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations
- Assemble, maintain and repair vehicles to specification.
- Carry out routine diagnostics, inspections and fault identification.
- Complete vehicle testing and commissioning activities as required.
- Ensure all work meets company, customer and manufacturer quality standards.
- Complete all job cards, inspection records and technical documentation accurately.
- Report defects, non-conformances and technical concerns promptly.
Luxury & Motorsport Support
- Prepare luxury, performance and motorsport vehicles for customer delivery, events and track activities.
- Support vehicle preparation for testing and specialist projects.
- Assist with bespoke builds and vehicle modifications under technical guidance.
- Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship appropriate to high-value vehicles.
Quality Assurance
- Carry out in-process quality inspections.
- Ensure completed work complies with company quality procedures.
- Maintain workshop equipment, specialist tools and test equipment in good working order.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
Team Working
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production and workshop objectives.
- Share technical knowledge and support other team members where appropriate.
- Participate positively in team meetings and improvement activities.
- Develop personal technical knowledge through ongoing learning and training.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Comply with all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
- Follow approved repair methods and workshop procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Report hazards, incidents and unsafe conditions immediately.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience within automotive, luxury, performance or specialist vehicle environments.
- Good mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Hybrid and Electric Vehicle qualification.
- Experience working with prestige or motorsport vehicles.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- High standard of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions
- Workshop-based environment with occasional customer-site or event support.
- Occasional weekend working to support customer events or vehicle preparation.
- Regular handling of high-value luxury, performance and motorsport vehicles.
