The DRVN Automotive Group are seeking a results driven, dynamic and highly experienced Automotive Business Development Manager to join the DRVN Senior Management Team and lead the creation of the DRVN dealer and service network, driving both sales and after-sales performance to meet strategic targets and shape the Company’s global commercial strategy. This position involves both strategic planning and hands-on implementation, requiring a deep understanding of the automotive industry and strong relationship-building skills.
Therefore, the successful candidate can be based at either the Company’s corporate HQ in Perth Scotland or at its operations centre in Coventry, and will entail significant UK, Europe and International travel including weekend work.
Salary: £ Competitive Salary and Commission

Network ExpansionIdentify, develop, and expand the DRVN dealer network, by engaging with potential new dealer partners in emerging markets to expand DRVN's global presence. Support initial set up, conduct regular performance reviews, assist in setting KPIs, and ensure alignment with DRVN’s brand values and objectives.
Strategic Planning & ExecutionDevelop and implement tailored business and marketing plans for dealer partners ensuring new opportunities are leveraged in each market.
Market Intelligence & ReportingResearch regional and global automotive trends, analyse competitor activities, and generate insights to inform business decisions. Regularly report findings and recommendations to the CEO to shape commercial strategy together with creating and developing new business opportunities.
Lead the recruitment of new dealer partners in unrepresented geographical areas, managing their appointment, training support, technical resources, and business growth.
Commercial Strategy ContributionCollaborate with executive leadership to shape and execute long-term commercial strategy, identifying innovative solutions and new business opportunities.
Travel & FlexibilityWillingness and ability to travel across the UK and internationally to meet with partners and attend events. Availability to work occasional weekends or outside standard business hours as needed.
Qualifications- Solid commercial base, with experience in business development, sales, or dealer partner management within the automotive industry
- Proven track record of building and managing dealer or distribution networks, preferably on a global or regional scale
- Technical appreciation of vehicles aimed at HNW individuals
- Experience in setting up franchisees and selling via a franchise dealer network
- Sound and proven commercial acumen and excellent presentation; Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation skills
- Self-starter, logical, organised (project driven) mindset
- Driving License - willingness and ability to travel across the UK and internationally
- Must have valid passport, IDLR/Full Rights to Work in UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/ provided
