Aesthetician - Electrolysis, Laser and IPL Treatments
Primary role:Deliver life-changing laser and electrolysis hair removal treatments for transgender women. We’ve proudly supported this community for over six years and are now looking for the right professional to continue that legacy.
Secondary role:Provide laser and IPL skin rejuvenation treatments to reduce pigmentation and vascular concerns.
About the RoleYou\'ll play a vital role in helping patients feel more confident and comfortable in their bodies by providing clinically excellent and emotionally sensitive care. You’ll carry out permanent hair reduction treatments using electrolysis and laser, while supporting our team in maintaining seamless clinical records.
This role requires someone who is not only technically skilled, but also emotionally intelligent, professional, and a true team player.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Excellence
- Provide electrolysis hair removal
- Provide laser hair removal
- Provide laser and IPL skin rejuvenation
- Maintain strict cross-infection control standards in line with clinic policy
- Understand the gender transitioning process and adapt care with respect and discretion
Administrative Support
- Coordinate appointments to optimise flow and reduce wait times
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date treatment records
- Assist with internal reporting and documentation
Patient-Centred Communication
- Explain treatments clearly and reassure patients throughout the process
- Work closely with other colleagues and management to ensure continuity of care
Compassion and Care
- Understand and respond sensitively to patient concerns or anxieties
- Provide an inclusive and affirming environment for all patients
Attention to Detail
- Ensure treatment rooms, equipment and working practices comply with cross infection policies
- Double-check records and protocols to ensure safe and effective treatment
Professionalism and Ethics
- Always uphold confidentiality and ethical standards
- Be punctual, reliable and positively represent our clinic’s values
Adaptability and Teamwork
- Be open to new training and digital technology
- Support team members and contribute to a friendly, collaborative clinic culture
- Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent (essential)
- Qualified in electrolysis hair removal (essential)
- Qualified in laser hair removal(desirable – but training available)
- Qualified in laser and IPL skin rejuvenation (desirable – but training available)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathetic, calm under pressure, and confident working independently and in a team
- Availability to work 28-32 hours per week.
