As the Senior ILS Engineer you will be a key member of the engineering team across both the Chertsey and Portland sites, providing Supportability and Support Solutions advice and documentation to projects, marketing and development. You will provide accurate, comprehensive and detailed Through-Life support modelling, plans and costs that are critical to winning business, providing confidence to our customers that our products and services are robust, reliable and cost-effective against our competitors. through installation and in-service operations; With extensive experience in the Defence industry and exposure to complex, long-term MoD development, delivery and sustainment projects, as the Senior ILS Engineer you will ensure that the Company remains in the forefront of the UK’s Defence Industry capability.

Proven ability to work on multiple projects and deliver to challenging timescales within a small team environment.
Commitment to quality, performance and cost, delivering on-time to the highest standard.
The ability to adapt and be agile to specific project requirements and demand change at short notice.
A full UK driving licence with the ability to travel between work sites (Chertsey and Portland) for extended periods when required, with occasional travel to Customer sites.
Highly competent computer skills including MS Office suite.
Holding or the ability to attain SC UK Security Clearance.
Engineering degree or an equivalent (desirable.)
Design, develop and document ILS solutions for new and existing Products and Projects, Bids and Proposals to the Customer including, but not limited to:
Planning and implementation of all Def Stann 00-600 defined ILS elements.
Training planning and Training Needs Analysis.
ILS performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators.
Define coherent obsolescence management strategies across the Company’s portfolio of projects and prepare obsolescence management plans.
Develop and manage technical publications and ensure technical publications alignment, e.g. procedural publications with training publications and update in response to design and support concept changes.
Identify, introduce and maintain appropriate, modern ILS software tools to support analysis and modelling and enhance the Company’s ability to deliver comprehensive ILS solutions.
Full engineering lifecycle with optional career path: Paid overtime or time off in lieu: Gain up to 24 additional paid days off per year or boost your salary with an authorised single-time overtime

Holiday entitlement: 24 days per annum, plus public holidays. These are pro rata for part-time roles. A Christmas closedown occurs for most roles from 24th December – 2nd January, utilising your holiday entitlement.
