HGV Mechanic in Strathaven

Due to an increase in workload, we are pleased to currently have an opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our friendly family-owned business and work in our large workshop at Drumclog, Strathaven.

This role will require you to work on our own fleet of HGV vehicles including Class 1 Lorries, Class 2 Lorries and Tippers, Excavators and other items of plant when required.
Duties Include: · Carry out vehicle safety inspections.
· Vehicle servicing and MOT prep · Fault finding and diagnostics.
· Maintain fleet to high standards in line with DVSA and FTA requirements Skills required: · A good level of technical knowledge, ability, and experience in the mechanical repair of HGV vehicles · Work well on their own and to strict deadlines xohmjla · PC skills are preferable Working Hours:
*Monday – Friday
* 08:00 – 18:00
*Saturday
*08:00 – 16:00 (sometimes earlier depending on workload) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
