You are an experienced, successful Sales Consultant looking to help grow a business in the SME energy sector. We are seeking a motivated individual to manage end‑to‑end sales for matrix and bespoke electricity and gas contracts.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell energy contracts to new and existing customers to achieve personal and team targets.
  • Contribute to sales reports as required by the Contract Sales Manager.
  • Tailor relevant products to different types of clients.
  • Identify cross‑selling opportunities to other departments.
  • Ensure quality of sale up to the supply going live.
  • Suggest improvements to the sales process to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Support the contract admin team with accurate information.

Qualifications Education & skills:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A–C (or equivalent), strong literacy and numeracy.
  • Business‑to‑business sales experience including telesales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage audiences.
  • Proven record of establishing effective working relationships.
  • Good judgement to identify issues/opportunities and allocate time/resources.
  • Ability to listen and respond appropriately to instruction.
  • Intermediate IT skills including Excel and Word.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
