You are an experienced, successful Sales Consultant looking to help grow a business in the SME energy sector. We are seeking a motivated individual to manage end‑to‑end sales for matrix and bespoke electricity and gas contracts.
Responsibilities
- Sell energy contracts to new and existing customers to achieve personal and team targets.
- Contribute to sales reports as required by the Contract Sales Manager.
- Tailor relevant products to different types of clients.
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities to other departments.
- Ensure quality of sale up to the supply going live.
- Suggest improvements to the sales process to maintain consistency and quality.
- Support the contract admin team with accurate information.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A–C (or equivalent), strong literacy and numeracy.
- Business‑to‑business sales experience including telesales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage audiences.
- Proven record of establishing effective working relationships.
- Good judgement to identify issues/opportunities and allocate time/resources.
- Ability to listen and respond appropriately to instruction.
- Intermediate IT skills including Excel and Word.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
What You Will Get
- Base salary £25,000 – £28,000 (plus commission).
- 33 days annual leave.
