About the role
Joining our fast-paced Finance department, an opportunity has become available as Client Accountant! Your key responsibilities will include the below, and as part of the team you will have the opportunity to contribute to developing new systems to develop our overall Finance function.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the client accounts function
- Processing and reconciling client and landlord accounts accurately
- Booking and reconciling receipts and payments
- Assisting with month-end and periodic reconciliations, ensuring that all Accounts Receivable transactions are accounted for
- Working closely with lettings, progression, and management teams
- Responding to landlord and tenant account queries in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
Please note, this role is based onsite 5 days per week at our Head Office (Ladbroke Grove).
About you
With experience in the Real Estate sector, our ideal candidate will have 3 years’ Accounts Receivable experience and have the ability to confidently follow processes, with the aptitude to support the design and implementation of new processes as our company expands. This role would suit someone who is either already assisting a more senior accounts professional or looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced property environment.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a client accounts role, preferably within the Real Estate industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Relevant professional certification (AAT, ACCA)
- Experience using RPS, VeCo, and/or CRM systems (or equivalent property accounting software)
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- An assistant or junior accounts professional looking to progress
