Job Description

Job Title:Occupational Health Advisor (OHA)
Location:Aberdeen
Salary:From £42,000 plus FTE based on experience
Contract Type:Permanent
Hours:40 hrs pw (Monday to Friday)

Role Summary

Recruiting Heads are actively recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor role on behalf of our client, a progressive third party OH and Employee Services provider.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised
Occupational Health Advisor to join an expanding team. Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated Occupational Health professional with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills who is committed to ongoing professional development, can analyse and interpret data, and possesses the problem-solving skills to meet the needs of the business and its clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Occupational Health workplace assessments
  • Reporting on health risks
  • Routine health surveillance
  • Pre-placement screenings
  • Fitness-for-work assessments
  • Undertaking Occupational Health case management, both in person and remotely, producing quality reports for the clients
  • Managing Health Records ensuring safe storage, security and confidentiality of OH records, complying with relevant legislation and good practice
  • Work to strict protocols and procedures in line with SEQOHS accreditation

Applicant Profile:

  • RGN/RMN with prior Occupational Health Advisor experience
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Highly Desirable: Occupational Health qualification; relevant experience considered
  • Proactive, friendly, and professional individuals with workload management confidence
  • Contribute towards safe working practices across the Occupational Health Delivery team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements to achieve more effective working practices
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages, and comfortable in use of Occupational Health software
