The Employee Wellbeing Specialist will champion staff wellbeing across DrPA Secure, embedding resilience, engagement, and health initiatives at every level. This strategic and operational role combines policy development, program delivery, and one-to-one support, ensuring that all staff feel valued, supported, and able to perform safely in a high-pressure, secure environment. The post-holder will work closely with HR, operational managers, and senior leadership to drive a positive organisational culture and improve workforce performance through wellbeing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the design and delivery of a comprehensive staff wellbeing strategy that supports our people through the unique pressures of operational work.
- Develop and run proactive programmes covering mental health, resilience, stress management, physical health, and crisis response.
- Serve as a confidential point of contact for staff needing individual support.
- Embed a trauma-informed, inclusive wellbeing culture across the organisation.
- Track and report on key wellbeing metrics, ensure policy compliance, and keep aligned with best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in employee wellbeing, occupational health, HR, or organisational development, with strong knowledge of mental health and resilience programmes.
- A confident communicator who handles sensitive matters with discretion.
- Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate initiatives that make a real impact.
- A background in secure, operational, or public sector environments is a plus.
- Experience in employment law, occupational health services, or developing training materials is advantageous.
