Summary of position

We are looking for an experienced Employee Benefits professional to manage, retain and develop an existing portfolio of individual and micro-SME clients which may also include ongoing administration support with policy and claims queries. Growth will also be supported with new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities

  • Account Management: Developing a clear understanding of customers’ requirements, collating, analysing and presenting market quotations in line with client’s requirements, identifying cross-sell opportunities, dealing with client queries, monitoring insurers' performance, and managing your workload.
  • Policy, Process and Procedures: Updating all internal systems as per process ensuring compliance, following best practices, and embracing technology to deliver outstanding client solutions.
  • Focus and Relationships: Building strong internal, client and insurer relationships, providing exceptional client experience, and working closely with internal colleagues to meet clients' expectations.
  • Compliance and Personal Development: Undertaking personal development, being aware of compliance needs, operating in an honest manner, and completing relevant regulatory training.

What we're looking for

  • Experience of working within the Employee Benefits industry encompassing all products with a focus on Private Medical Insurance.
  • Group Risk experience desirable but not essential.
  • Be Cert CII qualified or agreeable to becoming qualified.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, good communication skills, and a strong team player.
