HR Recruit is looking for an experienced HR Administrator for a 3‑month temporary contract to cover a period of sickness. The role is office‑based, 35 hours per week, and may be extended. Location: Littleborough, West Yorkshire.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR related queries within the organisation.
- Complete and maintain employee records securely.
- Keep internal databases up to date with sickness, maternity and other relevant data.
- Amend and update HR documentation such as contracts of employment and recruitment guides.
- Support payroll activities, e.g., provide holiday or sick day information.
- Liaise with external stakeholders and ensure all relationships and communications are legally compliant.
- Help with general administrative tasks such as arranging travel and processing expenses.
- Review company policies to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within HR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Well‑developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
- Experience in communicating via telephone, face‑to‑face, online meetings and email.
- Knowledge of handling confidential information securely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work under own initiative.
