We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for our well-established client based in Newton Aycliffe. This is an excellent opportunity offering Temp to Perm work.
Shift Patterns
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern (Temp to Perm roles)
- AM Shifts - 00:00AM - 2:00AM
- PM Shifts - 16:00PM - 20:00PM
The Role
- Delivering home retail products from the distribution centre to stores
- Operating single and double decker trailers
- Completing store deliveries with handballing required
- Rolling cages from the rear of the vehicle into store locations
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Pay Rates
- PAYE: £190 per shift
- Umbrella: £214 per shift
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Minimum 6 months HGV driving experience
- Double decker experience is essential
- No more than 6 points (SP offences only)
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
