- PM Shift: 13:45 β 22:00
- Night Shift: 22:00 β 06:00 (Sunday night to Thursday)
- Days: 07:00 β 15:30
- Early finish on a Friday!
Job Purpose
We are seeking 2 x skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and improving electrical systems and equipment to ensure maximum uptime, safety, and performance across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production and site equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Work with PLCs, control panels, motors, drives, sensors, and electrical distribution systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations, health & safety, and company procedures
- Complete accurate maintenance records and reports
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, production teams, and management
- Support installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment when required
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with PLC systems (fault finding desirable)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work
- Flexible approach to shift work
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Recognised electrical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable)
