We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for our well-established client based in Amesbury. This is an excellent opportunity offering both Temp to Perm positions and ongoing ad-hoc work to suit your availability.
The Role
- Delivering home retail products from the distribution centre to stores
- The Class 1 Driver will be operating single and double decker trailers
- Completing store deliveries with some handballing required
- Rolling cages from the rear of the vehicle into store locations
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Shift Patterns
- 5 on / 3 off shift pattern (Temp to Perm roles)
- Ad-hoc ongoing work available
- Start times to suit:
- Days
- Afternoons
- Nights
Pay Rates
- Days: £205 – £230 per shift
- Nights: £250 – £270 per shift
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Driver (C+E) Licence
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 Driver driving experience
- Double decker experience is essential
- No more than 6 points (SP offences only)
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
