As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of Dropless for our B2B sector. Your goal is to identify and secure partnerships with businesses that manage vehicle fleets ranging from delivery companies and car rentals to corporate pools. You will manage the full sales cycle, from cold outreach to onboarding and long-term account management.
- Establish strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the fleet and logistics sector (e.g., Fleet Managers, Operations Directors, and Procurement Heads).
- Field Activity: Plan and execute a high volume of client meetings and site visits to identify fleet maintenance needs within your territory.
- Brand Advocacy: Act as a subject matter expert on mobile mechanic benefits, promoting Dropless as the premier alternative to traditional garages.
- Project Oversight: Manage the transition of new accounts from the initial "pilot" phase to full-scale service rollout, ensuring zero disruption to the client's operations.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, mobile tech innovations, and shifting fleet regulations (such as EV adoption) to provide monthly strategic briefs to the CEO.
A proven track record in Business Development, ideally within Fleet Management, Automotive Services, Logistics, or mobility tech. Ability to navigate complex contracts with large corporate fleets. Consultative Sales: Moving beyond "selling a service" to "solving a logistical problem." Entrepreneurial Mindset: The ability to spot a "fleet opportunity" where others see a parking lot. Communication: Exceptional English (written and spoken) with the ability to present to board-level executives. Mobility: Full UK Driving Licence is essential for client visits.
Competitive Basic Salary. Remote working - Field based position - occasional visits to HQ in Slough. Fully funded company car plus fuel. Annual leave 25 days plus public holidays.
