As an Associate at AlphaSights, no two client briefs are ever the same. One day you might be researching wind farms in Korea; the next, exploring dairyâfree ice cream brands in the U.S. A core skill you will develop is learning how to break down any client brief, no matter the industry or topic. In this workshop, we will give you a behindâtheâscenes look at the process that makes this possible.

In this handsâon session, you will think like an Associate, working in teams to tackle a real client brief. You will break down the commercial value chain, identify key stakeholders and experts, and explore how we approach each stage of a client project from start to finish. You will then present your findings to one of our senior leaders, receiving personalised feedback and guidance.
The workshop will conclude with a breakdown of the key strategies AlphaSights teams use to deliver value for clients, equipping you with a practical toolkit for understanding client needs and applying structured commercial thinking to complex problems.
FastâTrack Opportunity: The team that delivers the strongest presentation will have the opportunity to fastâtrack the interview process, progressing directly to our behavioural interview stage for the Graduate Associate, Client Services role.
This session is particularly useful for students interested in fastâpaced, highâimpact environments - where adaptability, problemâsolving, and strong business acumen are essential.
