Role Summary
We\βre hiring a paid social editor with strong instincts for creating high-converting, scroll-stopping content. Your core strength should be editing best-in-class content for paid social, but you should also be comfortable picking up a camera (usually an iPhone) to shoot new content.
This is an execution-led role focused on speed, clarity, and impact. The ideal candidate can turn briefs into assets that convert.
Requirements
A fast-moving video creative who understands what performs on paid social and whyConfident shooting on iPhone comfortable balancing scrappy content with clean, elevated resultsStrong editing instincts for Meta and TikTok, with experience in short-form formats that use motion text, kinetic typography, and bold transitions to drive scroll-stopping impactProficient in CapCut and Premiere Pro. Bonus points if you\βve explored or other emerging tools or AI that speed up the workflowDetail-oriented editor who can take a performance brief and deliver strong assetsAble to manage a content pipeline independently, from ingesting raw files to final delivery, while staying reactive to what\βs working in performance data
What You\βll Be Doing
Execute against creative briefs provided by the Creative StrategistShoot and edit performance content built for paid social, across product, creator, and brand anglesLead content production from raw shoot footage to final edited deliverablesTake internal shoot footage, creator UGC, and campaign assets and turn them into high-converting adsContinuously evolve editing styles and formats based on resultsMaintain a clean pipeline of working files, exports, and content taggingSupport internal shoot logistics where needed filming, lighting, and setup for iPhoneHandle weekly creative editing load across Meta and TikTok testing priorities
Must-Have:
2+ years of experience editing video ads for DTC brands (in-house, agency)Portfolio featuring high performing video adsProven experience editing 30-120 second performance-driven adsStrong shot selection instincts when working with large asset librariesExceptional attention to visual quality and detailAbility to deliver fast turnaround times without sacrificing qualityUnderstanding of what makes direct response ads convert
