Role Summary
We’re hiring a paid social editor with strong instincts for creating high-converting, scroll-stopping content. Your core strength should be editing best-in-class content for paid social, but you should also be comfortable picking up a camera (usually an iPhone) to shoot new content. This is an execution-led role focused on speed, clarity, and impact. The ideal candidate can turn briefs into assets that convert.
- A fast-moving video creative who understands what performs on paid social and why
- Confident shooting on iPhone comfortable balancing scrappy content with clean, elevated results
- Strong editing instincts for Meta and TikTok, with experience in short-form formats that use motion text, kinetic typography, and bold transitions to drive scroll-stopping impact
- Proficient in CapCut and Premiere Pro. Bonus points if you’ve explored or other emerging tools or AI that speed up the workflow
- Detail-oriented editor who can take a performance brief and deliver strong assets
- Able to manage a content pipeline independently, from ingesting raw files to final delivery, while staying reactive to what’s working in performance data
What You’ll Be Doing
- Execute against creative briefs provided by the Creative Strategist
- Shoot and edit performance content built for paid social, across product, creator, and brand angles
- Lead content production from raw shoot footage to final edited deliverables
- Take internal shoot footage, creator UGC, and campaign assets and turn them into high-converting ads
- Continuously evolve editing styles and formats based on results
- Maintain a clean pipeline of working files, exports, and content tagging
- Support internal shoot logistics where needed filming, lighting, and setup for iPhone
- Handle weekly creative editing load across Meta and TikTok testing priorities
Must-Have:
- 2+ years of experience editing video ads for DTC brands (in-house, agency)
- Portfolio featuring high performing video ads
- Proven experience editing 30–120 second performance-driven ads
- Strong shot selection instincts when working with large asset libraries
- Exceptional attention to visual quality and detail
- Ability to deliver fast turnaround times without sacrificing quality
- Understanding of what makes direct response ads convert
