Financial Reporting
- Assist with monthly management accounts (including multi-currency reporting)
- Analyse product margin reports and investigate variances
- Support stock and inventory reporting
- Maintain financial ledgers for subsidiary companies
- Assist with year-end, audit, and regulatory reporting
Stock & Inventory
- Reconcile stock to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute stock ageing reports
- Support stock counts and audits
- Provide finance support to operational teams on stock-related queries
Tax & Compliance
- Assist with VAT returns and wider tax compliance
- Support customs and duty processes
- Help prepare information for audits and regulatory submissions
Systems & Process Improvement
- Support ERP systems (Intact IQ / Business Central), particularly stock modules
- Contribute to improving finance processes and reporting accuracy
General Finance Support
- Assist with reconciliations, journals, and month-end tasks
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis
- Build strong working relationships across the business
About You
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role
- Exposure to stock or inventory accounting (desirable)
- Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS) or working towards qualification (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Confident working with financial systems and Excel
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage your own workload
