Title Specification Technologist Location Remote About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Specification Technologist on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

Salary £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Working Hours Monday to

Thursday: 08:30–17:00 Friday: 08:30–16:00 This is a hybrid role with occasional travel requirements.

Access to your own transport is preferred.

Key Responsibilities Complete and maintain customer specifications and online portal information in accordance with customer requirements, including raw materials, packaging, and legal compliance.

Collaborate with Procurement, Technical, and Packaging teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date supplier information for raw materials and packaging is obtained and maintained.

Manage the specification administration process throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through to product delisting.

Ensure compliance with current food labelling legislation, customer codes of practice, and relevant policies and procedures.

Prepare and complete documentation to support product development activities and wider business requirements.

Assist with artwork approval and amendments to ensure packaging complies with legal, customer, and industry standards.

Provide support during customer and third‑party audits, offering expertise on product specifications where required.

Promote safe working practices and promptly report any unsafe conditions or behaviours.
