We are partnering with a highly successful, multi‑site food manufacturing and distribution business based in Worcestershire.
Operating a fully integrated, global supply chain, they are looking for an IT Systems Analyst to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Group Head of IT, you will be the key point of contact for system enhancements, process improvements, and day‑to‑day support.
This is a brilliant role combining Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) administration with broader enterprise IT infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities
- WMS Administration: Full ownership of the Warehouse Management System, including system configurations, user setups, security permissions, and regular data integrity audits.
- Infrastructure & App Support: Deliver crucial support for enterprise‑level business applications, ERP systems (Oracle EBS), and underlying IT infrastructure.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate closely with end‑users and senior stakeholders to translate operational business needs into technical system requirements.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Generate, write, and analyse reports to monitor system performance, identify operational trends, and recommend improvements.
- User Support: Act as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system issues, providing training, and supporting warehouse and office staff.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting and administering an enterprise‑level Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Solid foundational experience supporting IT infrastructure, hardware, or core business applications.
- A good understanding of
SQL is essential.
- Exposure to major ERP software (experience with Oracle E-Business Suite / EBS is highly advantageous).
- Experience creating reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Splash BI, or SSRS is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical partners and non‑technical warehouse/operations teams.
