You will leadand develop ashift team, ensuringthat materials areconverted into finishedproducts while consistentlyachieving highstandards acrosssafety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery andpeople performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliancewith legal, foodsafety, health & safety, environmental and peoplepolicies.
  • Take ownership ofshift and factory KPI performance, ensuringtargets are achievedand sustained.
  • Lead, coach andsupport your teamto deliver operationalobjectives and maintainrequired standards.
  • Overseetraining and developmentto ensure theteam has thenecessary skills, knowledgeand experience.
  • Effectively allocate peopleand resources toachieve production plansand budgetary requirements.
  • Monitor and report shift performance, ensuringtimely delivery againstthe production plan.
  • Lead and supportimprovement projects acrossthe manufacturing operation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and work collaborativelywith cross-functionalteams.
  • Drive individual andteam performance througheffective coaching, engagementand accountability.

  • Proven experience managingand developing teamswithin an FMCG, food manufacturingor comparable high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong coaching, facilitationand people leadershipskills.
  • A track record of delivering againstoperational KPIs.
  • Experience working withbusiness improvement methodologiesand continuous improvementtools.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing standards, processesand operational discipline.
  • IOSH Managing Safelycertification, or awillingness to obtainit.
  • A curious and proactiveapproach, with agenuine interest infinding new andbetter ways ofworking.
  • A commitment to keeping your technical and professionalknowledge up todate.

Desirable Experience

The following wouldbe advantageous

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365(D365).
  • Level 3 Food Safetyqualification.
