Role Overview
As Partner Growth Director, you own the growth and strategic success of our key automotive partners across OEMs, dealer groups, and leasing companies. This is a senior, cross-functional leadership role requiring both commercial acumen and technical fluency. You will maximise revenue from existing accounts while serving as a trusted advisor on complex technical integrations, product roadmaps, and digital retail transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the growth strategy for our existing partner base, aligned to business goals.
- Identify and execute upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities across product lines and markets.
- Act as a strategic advisor to partner stakeholders, particularly at the executive level.
- Run regular review sessions demonstrating the value of Drivvnβs product set through key data insights and recommend key areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand partner requirements and influence priorities.
- Translate product capabilities into business value for partner stakeholders.
- Guide partners through product onboarding.
- Identify blockers to and coordinate resolution with partners and product/engineering teams.
- Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with OEMs, retailers, and leasing partners.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Partner with product, marketing and sales teams to align partner needs with our roadmap and capabilities.
- Own commercial performance of your partner portfolio (renewals, expansions, upsell pipeline).
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and strategic planning sessions with partners.
- Define and track KPIs that measure partner health, platform adoption, and revenue impact.
- Work with product teams to gather customer feedback and build business cases that influence the strategic product roadmap and demonstrate ROI for our partners.
- Support the development of scalable partner growth frameworks, including playbooks, lifecycle stages, and success metrics.
- Contribute to building out a high-performing team to manage and grow our partner base as we scale.
- Provide coaching to junior members of the team and champion knowledge sharing to support development.
Requirements
- 8+ years in account management/customer success roles within automotive technology, automotive SaaS, or automotive digital retail.
- Demonstrable experience working with automotive OEMs, dealer networks, or leasing providers with understanding of their technical ecosystems (DMS, CRM, inventory management systems).
- Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts.
- Commercial excellence: proven success driving account expansion, renewals >95%, and consistent upsell/cross-sell achievement.
- Deep understanding of automotive e-commerce, digital retail trends, and mobility transformation.
- Experience with subscription/SaaS business models.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with ability to influence at VP/C-level.
- Experience with European automotive markets and multi-market account management.
- Familiarity with automotive digital solutions and competitive landscape.
- Experience working in high-growth scale-up environments (Series A-C preferred).
